The setting of the story is perfect, I myself was born after the war but the way the situation is depicted is exactly as I heard it from so many people and this goes for the whole movie. Some people comment that in the beginning of the movie the direction is not clear, I have to disagree, it sets the story up perfectly. Not at any point I felt that parts of the story were false or unrealistic, which is quite an achievement.
